1. Apero, short for aperitif, is an hour or so before dinner where you can unwind over a cocktail (or two) and a few snacks. The purpose of an apéro is to unwind and enjoy spending time in each other’s company.

The owners behind Apero are a formative bunch. Long standing Monroe native Joe Holyfield, his children Lisa Holyfield and Chris Holyfield as well as New York native Emily Ackerman together make up the team. Joe Holyfield has always kept his community at the forefront when working to develop new business for his community. This project was born out of Joe’s desire to provide more elevated options for Monroe and the surrounding areas.

The team behind Apero knew that the community was deserving of something new, fresh, and unique. Apero is the true culmination of our passion for hospitality, culinary excellence, design, and attention to detail. We look forward to welcoming you through our doors and helping you explore the finer things in life.

We wanted to develop a menu that showcased ingredients that you love prepared in ways you may be unfamiliar with. Our internationally inspired menu holds something for everyone. With an extensive network of partnerships with local farmers & small owned businesses, freshness and quality is paramount in every dish.
